I got this on a more-or-less stock RH 7.2 + GNOME 2.0 install (in
/opt/gnome2)
--------------------------------------------------------------
make[3]: *** No rule to make target `pangoxft.h', needed by
`pangoxft-font.lo'. Stop.
make[3]: Leaving directory `/opt/src/pango-rc1-1.0.4/pango'
make[2]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/opt/src/pango-rc1-1.0.4/pango'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/opt/src/pango-rc1-1.0.4'
make: *** [all-recursive-am] Error 2
-------------------------------------------------------------
Looks like a packing problem with Pango. ATK, GLib and GTK+ went fine.
Hope this helps.
Rgds,
Biswa.
