Perhaps it's me, but all those three projects have really ugly,
non-evident threading code, and seem to me very bad examples of how to
use threading & GTK at all...
So, can someone tell me how to use threading and GTK? I saw somewhere a
hint to just have the GUI handled by the main thread and exiting the
thread with a deferred GUI call (using gtk_idle_add()). Somewhere else I
saw a hint to lock things (using GDK_THREADS_XXX fun) inside a thread.
