Hi Joel,

        Your idea is already possible, quite trivialy for applications
using the Bonobo UI handler, you simply need to proxy component's menu
settings via CORBA to the remote 'foobar' or whatever menu bar.

        It's the hack of a few hours, and most of that fixing the
panel I would imagine :-) And of course it would only work for apps
that use the UI handler such as Nautilus, Evolution, Gnumeric etc.
