Re: file selector re-visited

I know about other programs that hack arround limitations in the file
selector, i did it for gedit to add functionality to open multiple files.
The problem is that the file selector is not great. Every program that is
messing with the file selector and hacking arround it is vulnerable to
breakeage if the file selector code/strucutre changes. This is just a risk
that we have to take in order to have a better file selector, of course this
will all be fixed for GNOME 2.0 when we have a good file selector widget.
