Or just set ACLOCAL_FLAGS="-I /path/to/aclocal" where the glib-2.0.m4 has
been installed (I used --prefix=/opt so I set ACLOCAL_FLAGS="-I
/opt/share/aclocal")

This "fix" is suggested by autogen.sh
