Please go ahead and commit with one change:

 #include <string.h>
 #include <glib.h>
+#ifdef HAVE_UNISTD_H
 #include <unistd.h>
+#endif
 #include "gdk-pixbuf-private.h"

Change this to:

 #include <unistd.h> /* for unlink */

Though I wonder unlink comes from otherwise....
