GDate confusion

While doing my work on the API functions for a GIslamicDate implementation, I
noticed something potentially confusing...
We have g_date_set_* set of functions. But we do not have g_date_get_*
functions. Instead we have things like g_date_day and g_date_month.
Wouldn't it be better to rename these to something like g_date_get_day?
I can provide a patch if desired.
