Gtk+ Modules installation directory

Browsing the GTK+ TODO list, I found that this is still an open
task.

I just published a proposal on the gtk-list for this feature to be
implemented in 1.2.x, not knowing that it has been suggested for
2.x.

I think that this is not too difficult to do and hereby offer my help.
