Hmm .. and this is cause placing this deep in some subdirectory ?
Many files are platform specific but is not placed in glib-sheme.
IMHO it is very weak argument for placing this file in this place .. in
separated directory :_)

BTW anyone know hat is hapen with Gtk-perl ? On
ftp://ftp.gimp.org/pub/gtk/perl/ is avalaible 0.5000 but README from
latest GIMP recomends Gtk-0.5120 or higher. Latest Gnome-perl is also
older then Gtk-perl 0.5000. Any URL with fresh tarball or CVS repo .. ?
