CList question for GTK_SELECTION_EXTENDED

Lars,

Is there a way to make Clist's emit the select_row signal when in GTK_SELECTION_EXTENDED mode so that it only emits the last row selected?  It doesn't seem to emit anything until you release a button anyways (with the mouse or keyboard), so if we could have it not emit the others, that would be really good.  Since it emiting that for a list of emails displays all of their bodies *really* fast, its a major slow down, etc.
