You need GNOME 2.0 or greater. Debian Woody has GNOME 1.4, and that's
why the compilation is failing. Among other things... you also need
GConf, which isn't available in Woody. If you really want to install
GTetrinet, you can choose among 3 easy things to do:

 1) Install a Woody backport of GNOME 2.x (see
http://people.debian.org/~walters/gnome2.html).

 2) Upgrade your Debian Woody (stable) to Debian SID (unstable).

 3) Switch to another distro, like Red Hat, Mandrake, et all.
