[gnomemm] libgnomecanvasmm-2.6 linking problem

Hello,

We have a program written for libgnomecanvasmm-2.0 and now I tried to
build against libgnomecanvasmm-2.6. It compiles just fine, but it
won't link:

libxml2ps.a(libxml2ps_a-xcanvas.o)(.gnu.linkonce.r._ZTCN27_GLOBAL__N_xcanvas.cciuFTZb10TextCanvasE0_N5Gnome6Canvas6CanvasE+0x1a4): undefined reference to `virtual thunk [v:0,-24] to Gnome::Canvas::Canvas::~Canvas [in-charge]()'

I am using gcc 3.3.2. One of our users reported the same thing.

Any idea what the problem is, or even what the error message means?
