[gnomemm] gnomecanvasmm issue

Hello All,I am wondering if it is possible to have gnomecanvasmm anti-alias gnome::canvas::pixbuf's with an alpha channel.  I am creating them with Gdk::Pixbuf's and putting them into the root group on my Gnome::Canvas::CanvasAA.  I can't seem to find any options or anything that will make the pixbuf's anti aliased.  Please help.
