Hi everyone ...

am currently also trying to install, but on windows xp.

also needed to add the sdl.dll

but now get this error :

"the procedure point gtk_window_set_urgency_hint could not be located in the dll 
libgtk-win32-2.0-0.dll"

(gtk is installed and set in the path )

You mean, doesn't it work *without it*? No Ekiga won't run without
SDL.dll. I have just checked that the version from
http://www.libsdl.org/download-1.2.php works properly.
