To confirm what Damien has pointed out in another email, if you are
getting this output then you are using CVS head.

I do understand that CVS head normally works just fine, but right now
there are some serious modifications underway that may well have broken
the CVS head for some people.

As Damien says, I recommend that you use the current stable version
unless you need the development revision for some reason, and are
willing to help with the debugging :)
