Look into the "General History" to see which codecs are used. On the other hand there is no guarantee that you really get the full speed if you have a bad line, a 56k Modem gives you _up to_ 56k downstream and 33.6k upstream, but things may be worse. Try uploading and downloading big (~ MBytes) files at the same time to see how much you can get with your line.
