Yes, perhaps I overlooked the mail. Not sure the camera I'm talking
about is an ov511 one, but I know there is a new camera with a new
driver, only able to capture in JPEG.

A few users have asked me to add support for that camera. It seems the
only non-compliant part wrt V4L is the JPEG format which is not defined
by V4L and requires all apps to have specific patches.
