Thanks for the patch. We have native alsa in CVS. See
http://snapshots.seconix.com/ for pacakges. Currently RH and Gentoo are
still in the make, but the rest should be up and running. Feel free to
join the gnomemeetingm-devel mailinglist and report problems/success
with the cvs packs. ;)

That's normal. Mute or Unmute is for playback. And thus the recording is
done, disregarding the playback volume or mute status.
