hey all,
I use debian sid with kernel 2.4.22-xfs from knoppix with gnomemeeting 0.98.5
My webcam is a ToUcam Pro (PCVC740K) and when I get to the Configuration Druid
to test video the light on my webcam gets red but gnomemeeting says "Your
driver doesn't suppor the YUV420P" I don't really know what this means,
should I rebuild the pwc module?
also when I start gnomemeeting I get this message:
Error while opening video device /dev/video1
The chosen Video Image will be transmitted during calls. If you didn't choose
any image, then the default GnomeMeeting logo will be transmitted. Notice
that you can always transmit a given image or the GnomeMeeting logo by
choosing "Picture" as video device.
Your driver doesn't seem to support any of the colour formats supported by
GnomeMeeting.
Please check your kernel driver documentation in order to determine which
Palette is supported. Set it as GnomeMeeting default with:
gconftool --set "/apps/gnomemeeting/devices/color_format" YOURPALETTE --type
string
thanx in advance for your help
