You've got two possibilities:
- change the listening port of GnomeMeeting
- change the listening port of OpenMCU
For testing reasons I'd recommend you to change the listening port of
OpenMCU. It doesn't care which port you choose, it is just important
that this port isn't used by another application and that its port
number is higher than 1024. Try to start your OpenMCU with "openmcu
--listenport 1740", for instance. Then you can launch GnomeMeeting with
its default configuration and call "callto://localhost:1740".
Anyway, changing GnomeMeeting's listening port with your gconf-editor
should work too. "didn't work" is not really precise, so it would be
helpful if you gave us some more information. (what did you try? how?
which h323 clients did you use?)
