ok what i'm think... ;)
i think it is the best way you don't add a additional field for a other
non gk server adress,
but you check the given gk host in the background, if the given gk host
isn't
a gk than you try the same way that gm goes when you type in a number
with "@192.168.1.7".
so one field to functions: gk or id
and nobody notice something.

Hello all!
i have one question, i use gnomemeeting as telephonie software.
my pc telephone switchboard is a pc software "pbx4linux"
(http://isdn.jolly.de/) with h323 support.
so everytime i make a call to anywhere i must type
in (in gm) "callto://0979142 192 168 1 7" (192.168.1.7 is the telephone
switchboard host).
if there any chance that i dont must every time type in the "@192.168.1.7"?
so only the number: "callto://0979142"?
note the pbx4linux isn't a gk software.
thanks for help!

This is an option I long hesitated to include or not. I could easily
include it, but I fear people make the confusion between gateway,
gatekeeper, proxy, and so on.
What do you think?
