As I sad, it was not possible to compile gaim-cvs (sources or rpm) on SuSE; it 
kept complaining about gtk+ not being installed and when I tried to compile 
this from sources it complained about some gnome-2.2 config files (or SuSE 
has released up to now just gnome2.0) :-( .
Perhaps there is another gnome application (with docklet) which I can compiled 
using gnome2.0 ?
