I run a Knoppix Debian station, 2.4.22 kernel, with a Philips PCVC680K webcam.

"camstream" software displays pictures from the webcaom without a problem. 
But, when running Gnomemeeting, I have to following error:

"palette YUV420P not managed by kernel".
