apt-get -i libspeex1
installed AOK

# ldd /usr/bin/gnomemeeting | grep speex
Gave zip, removed the grep & got tons of data, but none related to speex

Gnomemeeting doesn't report any more codecs.

When you said ...

it should come by default.. are you using source or packaged versions of
GnomeMeeting and PWlib/OpenH323? If you compiled the source yourself,
make sure you have the libspeex develop headers installed..



I don't appear to have a PWlib package ... just a thought ...
