Hi Alexis, although i don't have the slightest idea, why you think the GM-ML is a good place to ask, i suggest you to check with a fesh set of CD-R. the medium-error is usually a bad set of CD-R(W) media unless you have a read broken laser lens. so if the new CD-R also fails (and from the same set they work with another recorder, your hardware has a serious problem and you should buy a new recorder. you might want to try at max. speed of your recorder, as some hardware doesn't like to be slowed down. this only applies if your harddisk can send fast enough though =) please keep such mails off this list in the future, as they don't belong here. thanks for your support and happy testing ;) -- Best regards, Kilian
