Hi,
Let me put it simply.
The ONLY way you can use quicknet cards on redhat 9 is if you:
export LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.4.1
gnomemeeting
I know this works for ohphone, so I assume it will work for gnomemeeting.

After a few tests, it appears that the problem is only with the Quicknet
driver, but not when using normal audio or video.
I think that Derek has confirmed that Equivalence will have a look at
this. For the moment, I can only just advice to not use RedHat 9 if you
want to use Quicknet hardware at the same time.

I can confirm this. I still cannot get it to work correctly with the
quicknet card. I haven't tried it pc to pc on RH9. But using it with the
quicknet card pc to phone, it is definately broken.

Some people reported problems when using GM on RH 9 with a Quicknet card
due to changes in the threading mechanism.
Can GnomeMeeting be compiled under RedHat 9.0? Shall I compile from source or
rebuild the SRPM? Thank you for your help, I really need GnomeMeeting before
I can migrate to RedHat 9.
RedHat 9 comes with its own GnomeMeeting on the installation CD. But
some people have reported that problems were having problems due to the
new threading mechanism of RH which potentially breaks PWLIB and
OPENH323.
We are waiting for more information to confirm this.
Cheers, Jean-Michel
