[GnomeMeeting-list] (no subject)

I have a color quick cam...(first generation, back when it was connectix).
xcqcam works fine, gnomemeeting says that it can't open /dev/video0 channel 
0.
I run debian, and installed .93 of gnomemeeting.
root is the owner, but I added myself to the video group.  As I said, xcqcam 
works fine under my id.
the rights to /dev/video0 are rw-rw----- (i think)
Any ideas?

Its a parallel connection as well...
