[GnomeMeeting-list] GNOMEMeeting complaining about GConf

Hi!

Friend of mine gets the  following error when he tries to run GNOME 
meeting after  the splash screen appears:

"Please check your gconf settings and permissions, it seems that gconf is 
not properly setup on your system".

Then GNOME meeting quits.

I've seen a short discusison about it in the archives but no solution.

Could someone help with it?

The system is Red Hat 6.2 upgraded to 7.0, upgraded to 7.1, upgraded to 
7.2 upgraded regularly with Ximian.

Everything works fine though. Just this one thing....
