Maybe this has something to do with some checks in configure, what is the 
output of 'echo $OSTYPE'? In my opinion, some checks are broken, checks are  
done against OSTYPE. 
Damien: This is also true for the version in cvs, please search for OSTYPE in 
configure.in and change it. -lresolv is only added to libs if 'OSTYPE = 
linux', but it should also be linux-gnu and Linux ...
