There are a lot of threads in GnomeMeeting :
* threads to register and browser the ILS directories
* threads to grab images from the camera and display them
* a thread that listens on incoming calls
* several threads are created during calls to cope with each data
channel
* ...

Gnome is not thread safe, but GnomeMeeting was coded in a way that it
should not crash because of threads.
