rinetd ( http://www.suse.de/~grimmer/rinetd/rinetd.html )
does redirection by the port number.
It is a small program.
By such function, it is DNS.
If the alias registered into CNAME resource record
can be handling well, I will think that it is realizable.

PC1 PC2
192.168.1.1 192.168.1.2
When the wild card is applied to test1.domain.com.
ex. ilsd is new daemon program.
ilsd.conf --
pc1.test1.domain.com 192.168.1.1
pc2.test1.domain.com 192.168.1.2
-- end
The IP-forwarding is done from a definition file.
However, in an acquirable case,
it is about the name in CNAME.
Another protocol must be needed supposing
the name of CNAME is unacquirable.
Until now, it could not do, since it does not exist.
But as it realized by Apache,
I regard some as there being a plan.
I am sorry that there is no good idea.
