Hello Damien & Team,

   I've been following Ekiga/SIP support development for long, as a listener. Finally I installed a cvs snapshot in my Ubuntu desktop at home, configured an account with my Lab softswitch (Nortel MCS 5200, release 
3.0.55), and after a 10 minute fight, I got it working.

  GREAT WORK!

  Inbound & outbound calls with no problem, DTMF/RFC2833, and even Instant Messaging worked fine out of the box. Really impressive.

  The only thing that did not work is Message Waiting Indicator. MCS sends back the NOTIFY message below when it has a new message in the voicemail.

   Could you please add support for Nortel MCS-style MWI in Ekiga?

   Now what I had to do to make it work:
          Accept defaults for STUN
          Edit > Preferences > Audio Codecs: leave only PCMU and PCMA selected
          Edit > Preferences > Video Codecs: uncheck "enable video support"

          (unfortunately Nortel gateways don't support any of the cool new codecs,
           only g729 and g723)
         
          I had to add a line in /etc/hosts with my registrar IP (which is not in DNS) in this way:
          222.333.44.55    voip.registrar.com

          And then in the Account config, set the Registrar field to: "voip.registrar.com
"
          I had to do this because:
               If in "Registrar" I just enter the IP address (222.333.44.55), the ougoing invites
               will take a "To:" of the form:  
4031234567 222 333 44 55
               However MCS expects: 4031234567 voip registrar com
             
          All other VoIP devices I have worked with, form the "To:" field using the "Realm" configuration. Ekiga support Realm configuration, so it would be cool if you could add it automatcially to the dialed number.
