[GnomeMeeting-devel-list] Strange behavior with sipgate.at, GM-opal not usable

Hi,

I'm using the latest gnomemeeting-opal packages for Debian Sarge. A few
weeks ago everything used to work fine, I was able to receive and make
calls, both via Internet and also the "normal" telephone network. I'm
using sipgate.at, which basically is the same as sipgate.de. Same
operator and I guess they also use the same infrastructure. Just the
available phone numbers are different.

Now, with the newer versions of GM (I don't know when exactly it broke),
just active calls over Internet work. Yesterday I was supposed to
receive a call, I saw the dialog box (incoming call) popping up a few
times, but before I was able to click on accept the box disappeared.
This happened a few times. Then I tried to stop GM and it just froze.

Other thing: everytime I dial 50000 (voicemail), I get asked to enter my
sipgate-ID. Before I didn't have to enter anything.

When I try to make an active call into the telephone network, it rings
and the called person can also answer my call. I do hear this person.
BUT: this person does not hear me and it does not stop ringing (in GM,
the ringing signal from sipgate stops). When I try to interrupt the
phone call, GM freezes.

Is there something wrong with the Debian packages? Do you need more
information from my side? I could install the debugging packages.

Sidenote: I am not behind a firewall, I have a direct connection. The
STUN option does not make a difference. I also tried X-Lite with wine
and it worked without problems from the same machine. My impression is
that there is something wrong with the signalling between sipgate and
GM, but that's just guessing.

Best regards,
Hannes
