Can you provide a backtrace to see where it deadlocks?

That's normal, sipgate.de is trying to keep your NAT connection alive.

No, it is wrong. That depends on your NAT router. There is a basic
explanation in the FAQ on www.gnomemeeting.org, everything that is said
there is true, however, the port ranges are incorrect.

With Symmetric NAT, you have to forward a few ports.
With other types of NAT, STUN is enough.

STUN can not be enabled with IP Translation.

In all cases, it is unrelated to your hang. I'm curious to see the
backtrace to fix yet another bug in opal :)
