well, dragging onto a minimized or not-on-top window entry in the
windowlist does popup that window on top.. I thought maybe hidden to
tray could also work like that.. Maybe just dropping a contact onto
there should add it to the Addressbook.

That's the magic here. I drag evo->gm.. but the addressbook window does
not get the drag focus. It has the regular window focus, but the effect
of the hover drag does appear to evo 1.4.. Like i'd be dragging from
within evo and no addressbook would be between the hovering mousecursor
and the evo window.

does't work with evo1.4 contacts to the addressbook.

well, it heavily looks like there's not a single effect with Evo1.4 and
GM. Except that the d'n'd effect just passes straight through to the
Addressbook window, resulting in Evo interacting to the d'n'd hover and
the Addressbook completely ignoring it.
