The ChangeLog should be :

* lib/gconf_widgets_extensions.c, lib/gnome_prefs_window.*: Added support
for the activate signal on
entries.

* src/pref_window.cpp: Generate the activate signal when a file has been
chosen from the file browser.

It should fix the problems described by Julien (and apparently it does or
Julien would have complained).
