i had a somewhat similar error, when i reset the net-firewall in the
meantime, (while GM is having connections to ILS and before calling),
when i disable all outgoing net-traffic..

this is a very rare case though, but it seems the pwlib-handling of
dieing sockets isn't mutexed properly..
