A bit tricky to implement. I would propose a selection box with
available plugins, and the list is only refreshed with available
devices.

That's not for the lambda user. That's for the advanced user who wants
to modify things and not use the default.
Actually, I think we could use a priority list :
- if the user has ALSA, then only ALSA should be used
- if the user doesn't have ALSA, then we try to see if OSS is present
and so on...
If the user has ALSA but wants to use OSS, then he will use the command
line switch. That was the idea.
