Regarding the Makefile.in patch for pwlib:

You have these lines in your diff:

+   if [1 = $(TRY_PLUGINS)]; then cp -rf plugins/lib/*.so $(LIBDIR)/pwlib/; fi

However, they give me a

/bin/sh: line 1: [1: command not found

You need spaces around the "[" and "]".
