[GnomeMeeting-devel-list] PWLIB and GnomeMeeting CVS News

Hello to all,

A configure system was recently introduced in PWLIB. I added a few
patches which are included in CVS from today.

Here is the new way to compile PWLib:

- ./configure --prefix=/usr
- make opt
- make install

GnomeMeeting is now making use of the compilation flags detected by
PWLib, including for IPv6. So if IPv6 has been detected by PWLib for
example, GnomeMeeting will automatically use it. Further developments
will permit to do the same for SDL, Firewire, and so on. That ensures
that GnomeMeeting is always compiled with the same parameters than
PWLib.

I think that Christian still has to make tests, but we are very near to
be able to claim that we have full IPv6 support in GnomeMeeting.

Thanks,
