[GnomeMeeting-devel-list] Red Hat 9 driver issue maybe GM issue

Hi all,

ive finally goten my driver to compile and install with Red Hat 9 and with
gqcam which is a simple camera front end i can get a picture and the quality
is actually better than it has been in the past when i load GM it hangs as
soon as it opens the video device. and i cant kill GM look at procesess it
doesnt hang my system everything else will continue as normal.

To get the driver to work i had to make some changes to the mmap function of
the driver. im thinking its most likely something the driver is not doing
correctly its the spca50x driver, anyone else running Red Hat 9? the only
other idea i have is that its due to GM threading when opening the video
device its not returning what it should and its hanging there. i havent
looked at the GM code so im not sure if it is that.

I guess im looking for ideas of places to start debuging whats happening.

Dennis
