reverting the change from #133815 before UI freeze?

Hi,

According to the feedback we got after dropping the
play/pause/stop/previous/next keybindings, it seems it doesn't work out
of the box for many people and is perceived as a regression. I think we
should revert the change for now (UI freeze is monday) and try to come
with some better solution next cycle for that. 

What do you think?
