That sounds good to me!  We can feature one or another app for a couple weeks until the announcement of the whole release. GnomeMeeting looks great. Another one would be RhythmBox... how are their web pages? Do we feel comfortable sending the general public to those sites or are they very devel-oriented?

And as to that release, we definitely want an announcement and a splash for it on the day it's out! And a link to the releasenotes, and so forth.
