Inclusion of "#sidebar {position: fixed;}" in "default.css"?

As you all may or may not have noticed, I recently added "#sidebar
{position: fixed;}" to http://developer.gnome.org/developer.css. This
creates an effect that is not unlike a Post-It Note full of helpful
navigation hints located in the upper-right portion of the screen. It
looks fantastic in user agents that support it, but still looks fine
(like it would with "#sidebar {position: absolute;}") in user agents
that, unfortunately for them, do not. So my question is this: Are there
any objections to including this neat styling trick in the default.css
style sheet?
