          <td><p>The GNOME Foundation mourns the passing of Ettore Perazzoli, 29, last week.  Ettore had been involved in GNOME since pre 1.0 days and had been an important contributor to the development and maturation of GNOME.  He was also a driving force in the development of Evolution.  Of late, he had been spending a lot of time working on F-Spot, his photo management application. Ettore was a strong GNOME and free software advocate, a talented developer, musician and photographer.  He will be deeply missed.</p>
