Hi,
I think we should add a "GNOME Directory" to www.gnome.org. Here's what
I'm thinking:
* It would be listed as "Directory" and go under the "Contact and Press"
section of the main www.gnome.org page.
* It would be a two-column list. The first column would have the name,
and possible be a link to a relavant web page, and the second column
would have the email address.
So far, here is the "GNOME Directory" content:
GNOME Foundation Board of Directors[1] board gnome org
GNOME Foundation Membership Committee[2] membership gnome org
GNOME Foundation Executive Director director gnome org
GNOME Foundation Fund Raising Committee fundraising gnome org
Press Contact[3] gnome-press-contact gnome org
Webmaster webmaster gnome org
General GNOME Questions[4] gnome-list gnome org
GNOME Weekly Summary[5] summaries gnome org
Become a New Contributor[6] gnome-love gnome org
And here is a "GNOME Developer Directory" for d.g.o.:
CVS Accounts[7] cvsmaster gnome org
Bugzilla Accounts[8] [???]
Shell Accounts[9] accounts gnome org
Email Aliases[10] accounts gnome org
DocTable Accounts[11] doctable rheo uchicago edu
Release Team[12] gnome2-release-team gnome org
...(we probably want to put the various projects and some other things
in here too, but I'll stop here for now)...
[1] http://foundation.gnome.org/#Board of Directors
[2] http://foundation.gnome.org (new link soon)
[3] http://www.gnome.org/speakingabout.html
[4] http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gnome-list
[5] http://developer.gnome.org/news/summary/archives.html
[6] http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gnome-love
and/or http://www.gnome.org/todo/index.php3
[7] http://developer.gnome.org/tools/cvs.html
[8] http://bugzilla.gnome.org/ (Is there a page with intro info?)
[9] ???
[10] ???
[11] http://developer.gnome.org/projects/gdp/doctable/
[12] http://developer.gnome.org/dotplan/
If anybody can think of missing content, please tell me so I can
add it.
Could somebody volunteer to make the www.gnome.org page?
I can do the d.g.o. page myself, but I think the www.gnome.org page is
more important and I'm afraid of the www.gnome.org build setup.
Dan
