Commit process

Ok, I dared to make my first commit tonight since it was a trivial
change. Per someone's suggestion on gnome-list, I changed the applist to
read "in CVS" to "in GNOME CVS".

Now I just want to confirm that I did things right. In the commit
comment field I entered some text which matches the layout of the
Changelog file, but is this automatically entered into the Changelog
file or do I need to edit Changelog as well?

If I did anything boneheaded please let me know. Thanks.
