username/password in URI

Hi,

I'd like to browse a password protected Samba share, so i came with the
following uri:

smb://user passwd:host/path/

Unfortunately, this led me to the workgroups list :-( Is it planned to
support this uri scheme ?

I'm not sure if this schema is normalized, but works for htaccess
protected websites in firefox for instance.
