No. There's no point doing this: you'd end up with a clone of the
gnome-dictionary application.

I'm sorry; probably fixing the auto-resize issue would make the applet
useful again for you.

Yeah, but you have to move the mouse there and use the right click; the
use case for the "toolbar" is to provide fast access to a couple of
functions.
