There was a problem with my last commit - but now it should be fixed.

I had to add the 'm4' directory to EXTRA_DIST inside the top-level
Makefile.am, otherwise distcheck would fail; I've added a warning for
this on the MigrationHowto wiki page, since it might easily be
forgotten, especially by people without great auto-fu like myself :-).
Anyway, now gnome-utils compiles fine and passes check && distcheck.
